Agreed. He seemed to turn up his game in 2014 and has just gotten better.

The first set jams were so tasty.

Tommy and scott used to be neck and neck, not so much anymore.

Last night was the most assertive ive seen or heard metz at a show. I really wish he would bring wolf! down here for a show.

The cumberland/big river weaving was super fun.

I really enjoyed both shows. I think the venue wasn’t bad at all. It sounded great where I was standing. While I do prefer the Joy, they’ve simply outgrown that room. Looking forward to next year already.

i made the second night(friday Govt Mule burned it up). I miss the joy but get the demand of the crowd. Had balcony tickets and enjoyed the space and the sound upstairs. 4 year to see JRAD. Heard from a lot of people that the second night was better than Friday. They were on fire from out the gate. The tanks waiting on everyone outside were funny. me and my buddies laughed so hard while waiting on an uber.

You sure are triggered.

If this Grateful Dead cover band can sell out an outdoor amphitheatre in a state with legal weed faster than a southern jam band did 25 years ago, before the internet and social media and mp3s and every last stoner wannabe had moved to Colorado, well got dam I'm gonna have to check them out.

Do they ever play Touch of Grey or Casey Jones? Those are my faves.

I liked the first night better overall due to the Playing in the Band through end of second set. Both were great shows though.

tham gets to shine but he is like my 4th favorite band member. I feel like Dave was more pronounced N2 than i'd heard him before in the band, some nice little bass jam segments in there.

The bass was thumping N2. I remember thinking that very early on as well.

Playin'>The Eleven>Stranger on N1 was probably my fave segment of the weekend but N2 had so many highlights as well.. Greatest Story Ever Told given justice as a nod to its opening slot on the now legendary 5.6.17 I, New Minglewood Blues ripping, and of course the torrential Cumberland Blues jam cyclone.

Think I'm going to go to that new Waterloo Festival in Austin this September. Wish it was 3 nights of JRAD instead of SCI but oh well.
