It's supposed to be on the new album he's releasing soon i believe...
copy and paste the below link to spotify's search bar. it's not on youtube yet apparently.
spotify:track:0j2WBxWZnWti5TpSxjJvPb
it has a Battle Studies tone to it instead of the Born and Raised and Paradise Valley albums.

Song is very Meh. I feel he has so much potential but caters too much to making bubble pop shite

maybe the album will be better. continuum was a pop album and look how it turned out. everyone loves it. i much rather prefer listening to him play his blues/r&b instead of his that stuff from his last 2 albums and the dead and company stuff.

Wasn't the trio supposed to be recording again?

They did. From what I've heard, most of the album is Continuum-esque. Steve Jordan said it's a Continuum 2.0. This song is OK. But he always puts out something that'll get radio play. It's a hazy pop tune, pleasant sound. I think this particular song would fit on Battle Studies. I don't hate it. It's not the atrocity that Who You Love is.

I listened to it. Its perfectly fine as a radio pop tune, just hope it isnt indicative of the sound of the entire album
