He is the blues equivalent of Nickelback to rock music.

Convince me of otherwise. I've tried live and recordings and it is the equivalent of eating french fries at checkers... Moldy potatoes fried in rancid oil.

Extremely talented with maybe the best vintage gear collection in the world, but his music has no soul.

He's a very solid blues rock artist. Comparing him to Nickelback isn't fair.

One of my favorite performances is Joe Bonamassa Live at the Greek Theater.
A Tribute to the Kings. BB, Albert, and Freddie.

Never had the urge to see Nickleback.

He’s a great player. I don’t think I’ve ever heard him sing, but when he’s accompanying Beth Hart, it’s all good stuff.

I don’t think there are very many guitar players that can match his skills. I also enjoy his vocals.

Saw Bonamassa the first time in the 90’s when he was 16 years old with Bloodline. Great player but for blues I prefer Albert Collins, Albert King, Freddie King, Johnny Winter, Tab Benoit, etc.
