I wouldn't think so with everything else going on in town, but maybe I'm underestimating their popularity.

I want to go to the show at Republic but I already have a ticket to the 2am Galactic show at Tip's so I'm not sure I will be able to make both. Might just say screw the late night Galactic and stay in the warehouse district.

what's going on at the republic? Givers is at 8, that would give you plenty of time to make it to galatic

Anders and Crew are supposed to go on at 11:30, and the next band comes on at 2:30am. And I'm sure Galactic will be killing it until 4 or so. Sounds like a plan to me. HA. I love Jazz Fest!

I'm going to Robert Randolph at the House of Blues. I think I'm too old for STS9 now. The givers are from here so I will always get a chance to see them

I agree. I'll be the Anders show. Already have tickets to see Galactic with Black Star next Friday at the Sugar Mill. Then Rebirth, Papa Grows Funk, and The Original Meters next Saturday at the Howlin Wolf.

Robert Randolph, but I'd slightly prefer to see Mofro. Friends are going to RR, though.

You are underestimating their popularity.

That show is going to be ridiculously packed

Good for them.

I got to seem them at Carnegie Hall last October which was really cool. The last time I had seen them before that was in the quad at Tulane... they're moving up

Please don't reference Bill Kreutzmann as being the Grateful Dead.

ETA: Thats just like going to a Ringo Starr concert and saying "I saw the Beatles!!!"
