This is basically an instrumental showcase of masters at work. Multiple genres rolled into a fun instrumental.
Richardson is a guitarist for All That Remains
Tim Henson is the lead for Polyphia
Luke Holland is a session drummer / showcase drummer and is ridiculous
Even though guitar shredding isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, everyone should be able to see and appreciate that the level of musicianship on display in this song is impressive

Nice to see someone else who appreciates this stuff. I liked this release simply because it's a chance to hear these three on the same track. Love the work Jason and Luke did on his I album. Tim's approach to guitar is so unique and innovative.
I lean towards more melody with bouts of djent and shred, like Polyphia, Plini, Jakub Zytecki, Owane, Intervals, Animals as Leaders, Vitalism, Syncatto...amazingly eclectic virtuosity with all of these musicians.

Polyphia is one of my top 10 bands. All 4 of them are god damn prodigy level guys. Clay Gober might be the best bass player this side of Les Claypool
I’m an amateur drummer and Luke Holland is one of the best working young showcase drummers out there. His ease with ghost notes and crazy fast triplet fills while incorporating hip hop and jazz patterns is incredible.
I first heard JR’s name from a Polyphia album so this track delivered on my lofty expectations.
Love animals as leaders as well. Matt Garstka is one of the top 10 drummers in music today. I truly believe that.
Tim Henson is pushing modern guitar playing to new creative heights along with Tosin Abasi of Animals as Leaders
And they both have features on Periphery tracks so don’t sleep on that band either
Also if you like Bass guitar features - go listen to The Omnific which is basically Polyphia if it was only two bass players and a drummer. Crazy good and unique
