If they toured together I would definitely go.

It'd be the best thing that's happened to the band since they kicked Shawna out

even though I think Righteous Path is a top 5 DBT song
I don't hate it. I like George Jones Talkin' Cell Phone Blues more.

That's just plain stupid. As if a national recording artist, who is performing before major audiences, is going to drop everything to participate in a singing competition...just stupid.

That's the point. The idiots on The Voice had no clue that he was a highly successful artist. They just ran across some video online and thought he was some struggling up and comer.

I bet there's not a person that's ever been on that show that has close to the talent he has.

Southeastern is one of my favorite albums of the last few years.

Considering Isbell is my man crush, it was funny... Most people laugh when I say he is one of the best song writers ever... other people come back to me and say... damn he is one of the best song writers ever....

He's gained a lot of fame from South Eastern.. but he was just as good in the past when he was with DBT, and then his first few 400 unit albums...

There are Isbell songs I like better than others, but overall they are all the fricking shite to me. However if you are stuck only on southeastern... check out these...

1. The Blue

2. God Damn Lonely Love

3. Alabama Pines

4. Street Lights

Just to name a very very very few... those are all off different albums I think. People will either love him or hate him.... the ones that take the time to really listen to him will realize he is one of the best singer songwriters ever.

Isbell, Cooley, and Patterson did a show together at Shoals theater earlier this year... it sold out in minutes... less really.. it was first advertised on a Tuesday and it sold out in less than 15 minutes... there was a line at Pegasus records in Florence 50 deep for tickets at 8 in the morning. Crazy.
