To be fair to him a lot of people bought into the fear mongering by the media.
We have to stop thinking musicians, celebrities, etc on ALL sides are very smart about anything but music, acting, etc.
Musically, I want to hear what Isbell or any other artist I listen to has to say. About anything else, I'll give them more of a chance than I would a random person on the street, but the opinion they give is ultimately not any more valuable.
