Dimebag is one of my all time favorite players. I didnt want to include him in that discussion because we can talk a long time about just him. Cowboys From Hell has ALOT of groove influence on it. Ive always thought that while he was an incredible lead player, the true strength of his playing was his rhythm writing and how technical his right hand was. He was and always will be an 80's style lead player that was heavily influenced by basic blues and played a hybrid style of classical scales and blues scales. He was a more technical and less sloppy player than Randy Rhoads but very very similar to him.
