Yes. They are a small venue, cigarette smoke and Bourbon kind of band. Upset I cannot go tonight.

I thought it was a great show in a cool venue. Mid City Ballroom is BYOB and an old church so the acoustics were pretty good.

DNC were fairly spot on considering Kevin Kinney looked high out of his mind. They had a little trouble with the vocal output but got it corrected. They delivered a good set with old and new material to a medium size crowd. The other guitarist was great.

Good nostalgia show. (but good god, I forgot how much dental work Kevin needs)

That “other guitarist” is Laur Joamets. Dude is an absolute phenom. He was building a great rep and playing in front of thousands of people as lead guitarist for Sturgill Simpson when Kevn landed him. A rare treat to see a talent like that going back to the smaller stage and playing in front of small crowds in intimate settings. You witnessed something much better than you realize.

Yeah I kinda have my doubts. Not saying he hadn’t smoked recently but Kevn is pretty much always the same onstage and very much in control of his faculties. I’ve talked to him a few times and it’s kinda just the way he is.

I saw them in North Carolina within the last year. I became a fan after seeing them live.

Kevn Kinney (lead vocals and guitar)
Ty Tabor (rhythm)
Pepper Keenan (bass)
Jimmy Bower (drums)
Izzy Stradlin (lead and rhythm)

Would be a great superband.
