iPod issue when obtaining a new computer.

What does one do when the IPod is playlisted and organized just right and then comes time for a new computer?
What is the best way to "mirror image" the "new" installation of iTunes to the "old" version that was synched so nicely with the iPod?
I don't want the new installation of iTunes to erase the playlists, songs and organization on my current iPod. I have lots of Led Zepplin and Jimi Hendrix bootlegs that I want to remain on the iPod after the new iTunes is installed, dude !
Zepplin and Hendrix, Dude !
Thanks.

Does SharePod do well in the area of copying Playlists and Album Artwork?

iTunes match- $25/yr- all your tunes (and movies soon), playlists, ratings, play counts, genres, backed up in the cloud.
I've said it in another post on here but I've got 60k+ songs all backed up and available to any iDevice I own.
But why would I want to pay again for music already own?
Your lower nitrate musice is automatically upgraded to 256kbbr. The artists are paid every time you listen to a song (if it's a song available in the iTunes store) no more syncing iPods (assuming you have a wifi enabled iPod). Moving your songs to a new computer is made simpler.
It's a great value IMHO
