Man, I just can't handle the hardcore vocals. Tapping is getting pretty played out, as well.

Yep. It ruins that music for me. Which is depressing because instrumentally metal is by far my favorite form of music, then the vocals like that make me refuse to listen to some of the better recent metal bands. Ill never understand it. There's no reason for that generic try-hard voice box raping screaming shite. He could have just sang the song.

Also, for those complaining about the harsh vocals, listen to their album The Here and Now. Lots of singing in that one.

There are good harsh vocals, but most vocalists are just not good at it and end up sounding like a teenager yelling at their mom for running out of hot pockets.
