That was an easy thread answer.

He like LAyne Staley would probably be a train wreck to watch get old.

Don't think "Keith Richards." Think more like castmember of Celebrity Rehab.

They would not have aged well.

But I will play. John Bonham. Just for the possibility that Zepplin would have done a reunion tour by now. I would have sat online waiting to get raped by StubHub for tickets to one of their shows.

He would probably OD and re-die the same day.

My answer is John Lennon. I think he had some great stuff left in the tank.

I would also like to see what Shannon Hoon would have done with his career. Dude had a ton of potential.

I would've brought back Lennon. He was just starting to get that itch and had plans for a world tour in '81-'82.

I also would bring back Jim Croce and Terry Kath.

Damn, this far along and no Cobain? I'll take Cobain simply out of respect.

Dimebag because the way he went out was just wrong. Lennon is also acceptable. Both musicians were taken too early by psychotic assholes. That wasn't fair to them and their families.

I think Nirvana's continued existence would have hindered Dave Grohl's growth.

Freddie Mercury.

I think Queen still had some hits in them.

kinda disappointed this far and no Hendrix, what he accomplished and the impact he had everyone knows. When you consider it was by age 27 and really just 3-4 years in the big time is mind boggling. Would have liked to have seen the many different avenues of sound he might have traveled (ala Clapton). Guitar Player mag had a fun piece a few years back where they fantasized what his life and career might have been. One period was in hibernation in Hawaii for a few years and producing some world music sounds. Another was delving deeper into pure blues roots. I can be moved emotionally missing him. Same thing SRV. One of my great life thankfulnesses is seeing him a month before he went down in the helicopter.
