I just bought the most expensive guitar I've ever owned, it was delivered yesterday.

Gibson L-00 Special in satin Honey burst. Very pleased with the factory setup, this guitar needs nothing.
I wish I had done this a long time ago.

I have a 2019 L-00 special. It’s sweet, I’m glad you like yours. Mine is a walnut burst, Gibson Spec Sheet Link
I love the small acoustic guitars. It all started when I got a Fender branded 1960s student parlor guitar (like a sears catalog deal-think Kay/Harmony). I refretted it after radiusing the neck and floating bridge to 12”. I loved it so I thought it would be nice to have a small acoustic guitar with a pinned bridge. The old Fender has a trapeze set-up.

I have an Eastman OM and a Gretsch Parlor. I don't think I need those anymore
This thing is sweet, I love the satin finish too, it doesn't show up my oily fingerprints. Really surprised how perfect the factory setup is.

Pretty guitar!
I am going to the Gibson Garage in November to get a new 60's Les Paul Standard.

Hey Big Man, lemme hol a dollah!
That's cool, I remember you bought your first new Gibson Les Paul a couple years ago Now here you are doing it again! It's plain to see who's making all the money!

I did and it's still my #1. That one is a Tribute and it rips. This one will be a full Standard. I just cannot decide between British Racing Green and Deep Purple Burst.
But believe me I buy all mine on 3-4 years no interest.

Wow! I'm envious here! Beautiful. Congrats. I have a Taylor and a Martin. A Ventura and a Takamine. Gibson is my dream to complete my line up of acoustics.

I want to say how good this guitar is. I'm not bragging about having it, but the people who built this thing did a fantastic job. Damn.
Sitting here where I play, I have a small oscillating fan, when it sweeps across the top of this guitar, it hums.
I usually play with a thumb pick and fingers, I don't need the thumb pick with this one.

I can (only) imagine. Good for you! My biggest dream is to own a Gibson SJ- 200. Not very likely but one can dream. That said, you've inspired me....maybe I'll avoid divorce and pull off making a L-00 Special happen. I am going to try!! Keep rocking!

Sweet ride, congrats!
Of America's big three (Gibson, Martin, Taylor), of which all are exceptional, deserved of their market share, and bringing respective merits to the table ... my personal preference not as a fixer/upgrader technician but as a pure player, is Gibson.

That's where I'm at too. I was also considering a Martin 000, The Gibson won out for sweetness of tone.
I will add, that I got a really great deal on one of the "Inspired by Gibson Custom" Epiphone J-180s a few months ago and it is really good, but it has a thick paint finish. I think if it had this thin satin finish it would be much better.
I've been recording some stuff with both guitars together and it's a really great mix.
