it was much better as palladia. better vibe, better graphics, more 'cozy'.

mtv fricked this up changing the branding.

I agree. It was my favorite channel. I think it's going to go down hill fast.

I didn't realize they had changed the branding. Has the programming changed?

I just watched a The Doors documentary that they aired recently. It was awesome.

Why would anyone watch MTV in 2016?

I wasn't aware of the name change until last night when I was flipping around. Hopefully they don't change the programming too much

Seems like 90% of the time when I tune that channel in, it's some outdoor festival concert in western Europe, a buzzillion people crammed up in the audience, singing every word and knowing every little nuance of some terrible band that I've never heard of and never want to hear again.

I do like the Jools Holland show though.

its not mtv..

and my 1yo (and I) love the 'epic awesome videos' that runs from the time he wakes up (5:45am - 8am) while the rest of the kids and dad are getting out the door to work & school.

Does it make them leave faster?

yep, a week after the switch and i can say its much more 'coming up next on catfish' crap commericals now..palladia only had ads for 'daryl's house' and 'later with jools holland'.

more garish in the am when it used to be more relaxing. i guess my kid will have to go back to sprout now.

more ads for "regular MTV" shows sprinkled between videos in the AM now. it lost the ambience of the palladia bumpers.

You do realize Mtv owned palladia right? They just changed the name to palladia now they changed it back. Same shows are on it. The only change is more rock docs which is a plus.

No I had no idea mtv owned it

The fact remains it was better as Palladia. Now every time a video goes off there are multiple commercials for stupid arse mtv shows.

Ruined the ambience completely.
