I, along with a lot of other folks, tend to forget about DMX

Dude brought it on almost every album.
Besides his horrible personality, drug abuse problems, and treatment of dogs, he is one of the better rap artists of all time.
Thoughts?

I was a Ruff Ryders, and in particular DMX, fan. I loved their stuff. DMX used to be one of my favorite rappers when he was in his prime. I too had all his albums. Stop Drop Hit em up open shop! Ohhhh noooo that's how Ruff Ryders roll!

Well, he's not necessarily a lyricist, but he was the original trap rapper.

His energy when performing was insane. And his prayers on his albums so amazing.

Imagine if you're lying down in bed and his voice just pops up from out of nowhere. I would be scared shitless

Belly came on late the other night on BET. Watched about half of it before falling asleep. I have the DVD somewhere. Might watch it this weekend.
