I like your style coco, and I'm pretty sure I know you. I can't say that I would argue with either of your selections, but I might trade Otis' greatest hits for Van morrisons.

Margot and the Nuclear So & So's - Not Animal
Only other person I've encountered that listens to them. Great band
My choice, with or without lady friend, probably Morning View because I never get tired of that album. Runner up is something chill like Love Is Hell - Ryan Adams or Legend - Bob Marley.

Mad Season (off shoot of AIC)

I would definately have to go with something mellow, because I would be spending a lot of time laying around listening to this music. Otherwise I will be up wandering around the island or swimming, in which case I don't need the music.
Probably Grateful Dead Dick's Pick's 11
With my wife I woudl have to go a different direction as she is not a Dead Head like myself. Maybe Bob Marley Tuff Gong since we're on an island and all

Can't go wrong with Van Morrison.

Diamonds in the Rough by John Prine or Live at S.U.N.Y. Stonybrook 9-19-71 by the Allman Brothers Band.

Allman Brothers live at the Filmore...
If my lady friend doesn't like that album I probably would've drowned her before the month was out anyhow
