I use set list.com to find songs that will be played at upcoming concerts and I have used their “search by venue” to find archived concerts. I have found this site to be fairly comprehensive but it doesn’t list some concerts I know I went to at certain venues.

Does anybody know of any other web site that allows you to search concerts, by venue.

I've had a similar issue with setlist.com. It's a pretty thorough site, probably the best out there, but it doesn't always have the info you want. I searched for the date of a James Brown concert I went to that wasn't on there. I scoured the web for the date, finally found it in an archived news article. What I didn't find is a site comparable to Setlist.

That's bizarre. I don't think any band Ive seen has ever put out a set list before a gig. I wouldn't want to know anyway.

Fans do it after they attend a show. Most bands play the same set list during a tour so you can get a pretty good idea of what they’ll play by looking at their most recent shows.

Many venues have their own websites that have a section devoted to archived shows.
