How do we feel about country artist Jacob Hackworth? (Sept 18 @ The Texas Club in BR)

I stumbled upon his music this week. Apparently an accomplished songwriter behind a few of the hits sung by some of modern country's biggest acts. Has sort of a country-r&b-pop sound. I'm generally not a country fan. At all. But I always respect a well-crafted tune, genre be damned. Strikes a good balance of hooky lyrics and melodies without becoming intolerably saccharine like most modern country artists. Has a confusingly low listen count currently. Guessing the country purists on the board will probably hate him.

By chance I noticed he's scheduled to play The Texas Club Sept 18.
