Probably the best concert I've been to in the last decade. They were going to end it at the 2 hour mark but when on for another hour. Robert's voice hasn't aged a bit. The crowd was great too and a bit younger than I was expecting.
The 80s/90s are back in a big way. My son and his friends are all into New Order, The Cure, Joy Division, the Smiths, etc.. (along with a ton of rap and other stuff). They wear JNCOs and Stussy and shite. It's hilarious. My son bought a The Cure poster and some The Cure vinyl for his girlfriend for her birthday.
He thrifted a pair of JNCOs that he's had people offer him 500 dollars for online.
Anyway, pumped to go to the show Saturday in Dallas. The whole family is rolling out and the youngest's girlfriend and her dad will be there as well. Should be awesome.

never seen them before, bucket list band for my wife
we are gen x, grew up on their music
we got shut out of the houston show, so we bought 300 level in nola
flew to nola on wednesday, drank at the carousel and got groovy
I was able to buy two floor seats right in the front of the mixing booth
crowd was gen x and tons of gen z and millenials
sound was awesome, great show
my short wife stood in the aisle and had an unobstructed view
went out on thursday in the FQ and hit pat o’s, old absinthe house, acme oyster bar
flew home thursday night, wonderful experience. had an awesome time in new orleans
I want to see them again
we are going to the killers on sunday night at toyota center, big week for music

Where did you get the second set of tix? Ticketmaster or a reseller site? I ask because the only site I've seen tickets available is vivid seats and I was wondering if those were real.Seatgeek and stubhub had none. I want to go again.

ticketmaster
I listed the section 304 tickets for resale and bought the floor seats all on ticketmaster. the 304 tickets did not sell
we met a lot of people from all over the country going to the show. it was the first show on the tour and one of only three that wasnt sold out. I assume it didnt sell out because it was on a wednesday night
you can see which shows have tickets available here

Saw them in ‘92 in the old Coliseum in Jacksonville. They were fantastic.

Went to the Austin show last night. Nothing new to add, just reiterating what's been said up & down this thread already. They still put on a hell of a show and Robert Smith still has it.

I checked ticketmaster just now a day before the Glendale show and I see no tickets available. I know they resell on ticketmaster, but I can't find them.
Also, Vividseats seems to be the only reseller that claims to have some available. That has to be BS, right? BS meaning vivid has any.
Do I need a handicapped person with me to buy handicapped accessible seating?

Who knew Robert was a Gators fan?

you have to keep checking the ticketmaster page
you can watch twitter and reddit r/thecure - people will post when they are re-listing tickets but they get snapped up pretty quickly
honestly your best shot was probably new orleans
I dont know how re-sale on vividseats would work, the tickets are mobile tix from the axs.com app and are non-transferable
I guess you would have to pay the premium price and walk in with the ticket holder?

I could have bought tix to the 2nd atlanta show but I wanted better seats. Now it's down to 3 separated seats in the entire facility. I waited too long.
Posted on 5/17/23 at 11:37 pm to Jake88
you should see tickets re-listed closer to the shows as people realize they have to back out and cant scalp the tickets
Posted on 5/18/23 at 12:04 am to supatigah
Yeah I figured that. I just got some for Tuesday the 27th of June in Atlanta. Upper deck, but beggars can't be choosers.
