Mates, if I'm not listening to A$AP Rocky, Coldplay, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Arcade Fire or Jonn Mayer then chances are I'm listening to America's own ice princess Lana Del Ray.

Her latest single "High By the Beach" has dropped, and let me tell you - all the swaggy bros in the gym are cranking this one nonstop. Now that errbody is using bluetooth headphones at Golds downtown, you sometimes get your signals crossed and most of the time it's Lana. This one is boss and I do want to smoke up whilst listening, but also I can't wait for the remixes of this one to drop - will be boss as frick. Love the little backing electronic "dip dip dip dip dip dip dip" under her sultry lyrics. Drum machine is solid as frick as well.

Check it out now on the Spotify and ETA: from photo below looks like she's gotten some chest implants

This is like the stereotypical name for a Lana Del Ray, almost a parody. Casual but edgy. Oh Lana.

I find this highly improbable.

John Mayer is far superior to any of these, bro.

I like what I've heard. Need to listen more.

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds

I started to go see them at The Civic, but was too tired that night. I assume I should make the effort to listen to more of their stuff.

I like Lana for what she is, avoiding this until the album comes out though.

Yes, Noel is legend and puts on a good show. The banter between his die hard fans in the crowd and him on the stage is alone worth the price of admission.

Give his latest album a few spins on Spotify - the songs are better than all but very early Oasis. He mailed in the last few Oasis records and saved some of his better tunes for his solo career, like a proper genius
