Have you ever brought binoculars to an arena concert?

Dont most big arena acts have video screens? Binoculars seem like a waste of time.

I figure it would be a good way to zoom in and watch a guitar players hands or watch the drummer.. other things they don't put on the big screen often.

I don’t see why it would be a bad idea unless you are trying to get laid

We took a small pair to a touring broadway play this past weekend. Honestly it did make it more enjoyable to be able to see the faces and detail of the costumes.

I liked to get on Phils side, about 10 rows off the floor, a third of the way back at GD shows. You got a perfect view of Jerry there. I liked to watch the facial expressions of the band and of course Jerry's fingers. For that binos made it much more enjoyable. But to each their own. Some were out in the hallway dancing and never set eyes on the band.
