Has there been an artist fall further than Lupe Fiasco in the last decade?

Food and Liquor I is in my top 5 albums of all time. The Cool was alright, Lasers was when you started to really see the decline, but still a few decent songs on there. His recent stuff is electronic poetic mumbo jumbo. I thought he had the potential be one of the better rappers for the foreseeable future. Kind of depressing.

I loved his first record, but I have not heard any of his stuff since. I've forgotten about him really, so I guess that sort of confirms your question.

I'd say that most pop/mainstream stars are one hit wonders, so I'm sure there has been.

I actually thought there were some solid tracks on Murals. And he's putting out 3 albums in '16 so we'll see if he makes a return.

Ja Rule.

Never was a fan to begin with, but obviously at some point there was a large enough fan base

DMX couldn't stop getting arrested; so that's an asterisk.

When Busta Rhymes comes out for air to light you up, you know you've crossed a line.

I can tell a lot of you guys didn't listen to Tetsuo and Youth. An artist can't decline when he drops his best album last year.

Matter in fact, how can you listen to his song Mural and say he's fallen off? Wtf

He peaked to soon. Food and Liquor and the Cool were Classic all-time Albums. Then he started to get on this Anti-america/ Muslim kick and it was all down hill.

Clearly you haven't listened to Lupe in a long time. Tetsuo and Youth is an incredible album, probably Lupe's best work. Seriously, go listen to it. It's much better then Food and Liquor.

Lupe Fiasco was always really bad. Just a total mediocrity created to be palatable to white Barnes and Noble proto-hipsters.
