I wanted another 2x12 cabinet and had heard good things about the Harley Benton 2x12 cabinets. I ordered one from Thomann.. It was being shipped from Germany, and showed up today. I couldn't believe it got here that fast. Build wise, it's definitely not near the quality of a Mesa, but looks pretty decent.

$300 dollars total shipping included. It's loaded with Vintage 30s. I won't get to try it out for a couple of days. I also ordered a stereo power amp (HB GPA-400) so I can run my helix through 2 2x12 cabs in stereo. It's supposed to get here on Monday. I currently run it through a a small PA in my shop. I wanted the option to be able to run it through guitar cabs to move some air. We'll see how it sounds.

FYI, if OP pops the back of the cab and confirms the speakers are actual Celestion Vintage 30s, that's a HELLUVA deal even if the cab itself is lackluster.

MAP (advertised street price) for Celestion Vintage 30s is $169 each.

They are indeed vintage 30s. It sounds really good. Not as good, but close enough to my friend's Mesa 2x12 vertical cab. It's a steal for the money. Mine came with a very small gouge in the side (about 1/4") and one of the metal corners was dented. I don't even care. I highly recommend. The tolex is thinner and obviously not as well constructed as a mesa, but it's just going to sit in my shop.

Here is a video from Phillip McNight

Here's a link to the cab

Thomann

Around $315 shipped to my house.

With the exchange rate being about even now, there may be some deals to be had on Harley Benton/Thomann.

Looking for a smaller watt bass head for at home practice. They have a TC BQ 500 for $229 with even exchange and free shipping. The same amp at Sweetwater is $339. Trace ELF is $225 at Thomann and $349 at Sweetwater.

Wish I had never clicked on this thread. Gonna have to play a few more gigs.

ETA: I was wrong, I thought it said free shipping. Even so, I priced the shipping and for the bass heads it was about $28, so still good deals.
They probably just drop ship the stuff straight from China.

I ordered a 2x12 EVH cab for my matching EVH 50W Stealth head. It sounds good, but I like the Harley Benton better. I ordered another Harley Benton cab.

If anyone is looking for a 2x12 cab with V30s for cheap, I can't recommend this cab enough. The cost one this one was $308 shipped. 16 ohm V30s are $169 on Sweetwater.
