After McGraw, he has been the top male country artist of the last 20 years. Definitely more of a traditionalist then Tim. His self-titled debut album helped get me through Basic Training and AIT in the summer/fall '99. I've always thoroughly enjoyed his music. And he ain't bad on a guitar, either.

Happy birthday, Brad.

I think he's a very talented guy with a lot of bleh songs.

Whiskey Lullaby is one of the few I like by him.

His mid 2000’s streak: Ticks, Alcohol, celebrity, mud on the tires, when I get where I’m going, were great songs. Kind of fell of in early to mid 2010’s.

Brad started ok. Then he fell... hard. He sold out on stupid songs like the world, water, welcome to the future, and many many more.

His stuff late 2000s to today lack substance and anything catchy musically. He should stick to doing insurance commercials.

He's a really good guitar player who should have hooked up with a rock outfit who already had a songwriter.

Paisley, who had broken down in tears while running through the song during soundcheck earlier that afternoon, recalled doing “everything I could do not to lose it. I had to close my eyes, or I would completely break down.” After the performance, he tipped his hat to the president, thanked him and left the stage. Paisley recalled that once he was offstage he “just started bawling,” taking in the enormity of the moment. Paisley would again perform for the President and First Lady Michelle Obama on July 4th, 2012, and in January 2013 at the inauguration concert celebrating his second term.

Yea he sold out on all the silly songs pretty much taking the Toby Keith route. But we danced, he didn’t have to be, then, remind me with Carrie Underwood, she’s everything to me, are really sold songs.

Eddie V Halen gave him one of his first Ernie Ball musicman guitars when they came out so he has that going for him. Dude can shred too.

Wrapped Around is a great song. But I can't stand anything he's done in a long, long time.
