If those 3 bands at the top are the headliners, that's where mine is coming from. I admit I'm old(43) but I generally keep up with new music, and I've never heard of two of them. Granted, I'm not as hip as I once was.

Definitely some solid acts - Kurt Vile, Isbell, Silversun, Portugal The Man, Leon Bridges. All acts I'd love to see.

I hope Florence isn't a headliner, that would suck balls. Typically I don't watch headliners at hangout, it's the shittiest part.

I NEVER go to these festivals to see the main acts, because seeing something in crowds that size kind of sucks anyway, imo. The main acts absolutely suck this year, but the undercard is solid.

Here are the acts I'd love to see:

Haim
Cage the Elephant
Panic! At the Disco (didn't realize they were still together)
Grimes
Leon Bridges!
Isbell (though I've seen him enough I'd probably skip for someone else if there was a conflict)
Big Grams (hell yah)
RTJ! (double hell yah)
Foals (amazeballs)
P,TM
Moon Taxi
Courtney Barnett
Kurt Vile (hell yah)
Borns
Atlas Genius
Vince Staples (if they put him on a Thursday night like they tend to do rap, I'll be pissed)
Bully (they're awesome)
Bass Drum of Death

Oh, and I'm 42. So it's not for that young of a crowd.

FOALS, RTJ, Barnett, Isbell. The rest is a big ball of meh. But this is where pop music has been going for awhile. This is catering to the Millenial crowd, and this is probably a lineup that excites their demographic.

I don't think it's awful, but it's not getting me off my couch.

Before I clicked I knew Alabama Shakes would be on the list. So very predictable.

I'm in the same age range and try to keep up too. I've heard of all of them, but I have no desire to see The Weeknd or Calvin Harris.

It seems like they are going for a younger demographic than previous years. Maybe they don't want to compete with Jazz Fest.

This festival has gone downhill quick. They peaked their second year with Cheese and RHCP.

2011 was the GOAT. Motörhead, Primus, Black Keys, Foo Fighters, Portugal. The man, Avett Brothers, slightly stooped, Matisyahu.

I actually like Florence a lot.
But the weekend as a headliner? I'm sorry but outside of Drake I'm not sure if there is a more overrated mainstream artist.
