Hey man thanks for posting this, it's awesome!
Jack is a close family friend and such a sweet man. Total opposite of Dickey Betts IMO. Unfortunately, his brief tenure and contributions to the Brothers get overshadowed by the other legendary guys (Warren Haynes etc.) but Jackie is an absolutely FILTHY freak beast guitar player. He's far too classy/humble to ever toot his own horn though, total stand up guy. When he was younger (hell probably still to this day!), he'd stay home and play guitar for 10-12 hours at a time. Dude just loves the instrument and the craft of playing.

Yeah, one of the best players alive.
Saw him a few months ago at 3rd and Lindsley in Nashville.
