The thing with Axl Rose is... the dude is the ultimate perfectionist who does things Axl's way, in Axl's time. He doesn't care that his albums are released decades apart or that it frustrates the fans who are patiently waiting for new music, he will release the album when he's ready and that's it.

If this was the late 80s or early 90s..more fricks would be given.

REG, Axl is one of my favorite singers, I've always admired the guy, but I have to question Mr. Pitman's statement there. Axl was diagnosed with manic depressive disorder, and there's testimony from a good number of people that proves he is a very bi-polar individual. Even the guy's music is bi-polar! "It's So Easy" and "Sweet Child O' Mine" being perfect examples. Both songs are on AFD, the former song has a misogynist lyric in it that degrades women, while the latter song is one of the greatest love songs ever written.

Axl's erratic behavior and controlling nature is what brought GnR down. He completely owns the rights to the name Guns N' Roses, back in the 90's he forced the other original members to sign over their claims to the name or else he wouldn't tour until they did.

Slash may have had some part in it, but there's way too much documented proof that points to Axl being the reason this band went down-hill. Once again, I like the guy, but you have to look at what's there. Besides, it wasn't Slash who made the band constantly go on stage hours late, it was Axl. It wasn't Slash who wrote "One in a Million", the song that landed the band in hot water, it was Axl. Also, Axl included a song written by Charles Manson, "Look at Your Game Girl" on the Spaghetti Incident record. That's just three examples of the weird side of Axl.

He totally ripped off Marilyn Manson on that btw. Axl liked to steal ideas and apply it to his own mystique.

No, not Marilyn Manson... I'm talking about the convicted murderer Charles Manson who once was a song-writer, and Axl recorded one of the songs that Manson wrote.

Also, not only is Manson a convicted murderer, he's a psychotic man who has been in prison for many years after he and the cult who followed him were found guilty of multiple murders.

Correction: I was mistaken on one point. Manson didn't kill the victims himself, however, the victims were killed on his orders by the people in his cult. So he was guilty of conspiracy to commit murder, but in my opinion, he is still a psychotic murderer nonetheless, because these people died because he commanded the delusional people who followed him to kill them.

If Axl wouldn't be so crazy, the original band could reunite, they are all still alive.

Duff McKagan is making too many appearances on The View and Dr. Phil to care about getting back together.

Adler is too far gone to do anything more than 1 show. I doubt anyone wants to listen to his shite, either. Poor guy, but still...

Matt Sorum would probably be the first to get in line to do the show and he's not an OG member.

Izzy would have a lesser chance than anyone not named Axl of doing the show. He walked out on the Illusion years and 4 years worth of videos and tours. If he wasn't going to stick around for that, he sure won't want to come reunite to play a song like "You Could Be Mine".

Slash, I believe, would do it but he's making too much money and a name for himself with other bands and video games and marketing himself. Good for him.

In my opinion, Axl did the worst thing that one could do and that is carry on the show with a lot of musicians that are a decade behind GNR, basically. He's already alienated one group of former band mates and production. I would think he would not want to piss off another, but hey, that's not impossible for Axl.

There's a greater chance of Steve Perry and Journey doing 100 dates over the next year in 6 continents than GNR even talking about reuniting.

Yes. Marilyn Manson. Axl ripped him off. Before Marilyn got to be as known he met axl..talked about some things and told axl he'd recorded the Charles Manson song "my monkey", axl didn't know Charles had and album so he immediately went out and did the same thing. Manson wrote about it in his book, citing it taught him a lesson in what not to do.

They had a couple of good albums 25 years ago. Axl is a douchbag and has been one his whole career, get over it and find a new band to follow. Chinese democracy is crap.
