Of the ones I've listened to on his list:

quote:

Justin Timberlake, The 20/20 Experience

Legit

quote:

Daft Punk, Random Access Memories

Eh, but it's admittedly not my style

quote:

Kanye West, Yeezus

I think most agree that two out of three are at least reasonably okay. And that Kanye's isn't one of those two.

Very sad that Hyden will probably be right.

Vampire Weekend is a classic, IMO. Great record all the way through.

I like Yeezus- lyrics are blah, but you dont buy a Kanye record for his rapping. I can understand why people dont like it though. It reminds me of Chinese Democracy (which I also happen to like) if Axl had rushed it to cash in when he was still relevant.

Im sure Arcade Fire will be excellent, as always.

The rest, especily the other TBA, just don't appeal to me at all.

justin timberlake's new album from what I heard has about 2-3 decent songs and the rest is filler

john moreland's "in the throes" is my record of the year so far

I think it will end up being victimized by the greatness of Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix.

Same reason why nobody mentions the YYYs album. It's good; but it's not "It's Blitz".
