This shouldn't even be a contest. Grace Slick was very good in her Jefferson Airplane days but she wore out her voice early and Starship was just an abomination. Stevie Nicks rules !
Need I say more ?

"We Built This City" was an abomination. Starship wasn't horrible. They were just a meh band with 2 or 3 decent "hit" songs.

This is no competition.. Stevie! I saw Fleetwood Mac last May at Jazzfest and Stevie will always remain timeless in her voice as well as style!!

Real tough call...Grace 1a and Stevie 1b?

I always thought of Fleetwood Mac as the band led by Peter Green. I liked some of the material when they were had Danny Kirwin and Bob Welsh. When Christine McVie joined the band, she added to their sound. However, when Buckingham and Nicks joined the band, I lost interest- as far as I am concerned, they killed the band. I have never liked Nicks or her hoarse voice.
Grace Slick, on the other hand, didn't 'take over' the Airplane, she added to their sound. Very pleasant, even sexy voice, and sounded good in harmony vocals with either Paul or Marty. And lastly, in the late 60's, early 70's Grace was a huge sex symbol, a real hotty back in the day...

both great vocalists, but i admit i'm soured about grace posing her way through her career....

From a commercial standpoint Nicks/Buckingham brought them success, but they certainly did not bring any creativity to the band...I will pass.

What does this mean?
i've read a few interviews where she admitted she was just trying to follow the money, even in the jefferson airplane days. i know it's the music business and all that, but i was kinda disappointed to read that art was secondary to commerce with her, even in the beginning. still, like i said, she's a great singer....
