This will be my third time to see him live here in Southern California He puts on a great live show, and it's a nice little touch of home

He does put on a good show. I may see him again when he comes to Houston in November.

I've seen a few bands there. Great, small venue!

Hopefully Eric Johanson opens for him. I saw them a few weeks ago and it was a great show. In Eric's set, Corey played bass and Tab was on drums.

Absolutely. Only 500 seats so you really can't get a bad seat. And if you get dinner reservations you're usally right by the stage. I saw Buddy Guy there a few years ago and was close enough that during one of his songs he walked over and let the lady sitting next to me strum his guitar during one of his songs. I don't blame him. She was a babe.

Great concert last night! Eric Johanson was the opening act. Opened the show solo for one song, a real swampy kind of number on the slide guitar. Then called Tab and Corey out to the stage for the rest of the set. Played for about 45 minutes altogether. Tab Benoit played for about 90 minutes and had the crowd eating out of his hands. This is the third year in a row he has played here and all his shows have been sold out well in advance. He seemed surprised that people out in California knew who he was and liked his music. I was talking to one guy before the show and he told me he had driven 300 miles from Arizona for the show.

Anyway, Tab rocked the house. Opened with Why Are People Like That, and closed with Night Train. Played GREAT renditions of Medicine and Shelter Me also

Awesome! Sounds like the same show he did here. They mentioned during the intros that they sold out this venue for I think 11 years in a row.

Saw him and EJ in Atlanta several months ago. Great concert. Awesome rendition of The Blues is Here to Stay that night.
