Where were you sitting? I was in 112, and the mixing of GnR was awful. I couldn't hear Izzy the vast majority of the time. Axl seemed to cut in and out repeatedly. One of the few times I could enjoy hearing Duff was during Slither. This didn't happen with Alice in Chains, which were awesome.

The sound for GnR was so inconsistently bad I'm pretty sure I left before Live and Let Die. I can't be certain, since there was so many post Use your Illusion tracks and covers I was lost. I was completely sober, btw. I was back at the hotel by 9:30 if that gives you an idea.

Izzy Stradlin(Jeff Izabel) hasn't been in GNR since 1991. Richard Fortus has played Izzy's parts for the last 20-25 years or so. You seriously didn't know this & went to a GNR show thinking Izzy Stradlin was on stage playing?

LOL, point taken. It just really looked like him. I had no idea who the drummer was, either. I was just trying to say I couldn't hear whatever guitar role he played most of the time.

We were in section 215 and AIC sounded bad for me when they first started. I'm not sure if some changes were made mid-set but it got better after a few songs. They had a great set list, I wish they had played a few more songs.

GNR was great, covered all the classics and I thought they killed it on Slither. Axl is 61, Slash is 58 and you would not have know that watching them play last night, it was impressive.

That was a lot of my frustration, I knew it was there, I just couldn't hear it. It would go in and out. The last GNR in 2021? was amazeballs. This was shite. I would have blamed the venue (I've never seen a concert in Minute Maid), except Alice in Chains was acoustically great. GnR was a wreck in comparison, before I left at least. It was so much worse than the last time they were in Houston, sonically, wow. They were obviously bought in to the performance, but it sounded like arse.

I think it’s the venue. We were in 106 and AIC was nothing but noise. Cleaned up a bit with GNR, but i think that was due to the bodies absorbing some of the sound.

MMP is just a tin barn - would have helped to open the roof.

You didn't hear Izzy any of the time. I shouldn't even respond to the rest after this comment.
