Generic songs are sloppy nowadays. Listen to this song from 1999. You may not like the song, but it's much cleaner than stuff nowadays.

No, it was shite then.

Only difference is that all the old shite has had time to turn white and stop stinking as much. But nonetheless, still shite.

All music was better 25 years ago...and it wasn't that great then.

At the time, it seemed that way due to the great music that came before it.

Looking back, though, the music seems better than we thought back then. That's probably due to how bad the music industry has become.
