garden state soundtrack

Cliche movie and perhaps soundtrack but I randomly heard three songs from it today on Pandora (colin hay, Simon and shins) and re-realized how bad arse it was. Plus 04 -05 was pivotal time for me and that CD was a gift. Anyway csb I know.

Good luck exploring the infinite abyss.
Garden State is one of my favorite movies of all time. I saw it at a time in my life where I could heavily relate to Andrew Largeman. It really affected me.

Zero 7 being on this soundtrack is enough of a reason for me to like it. I've always been a sucker for trip-hop and trip-hop-esque music.

not that anyone asked, but i had just quit my first job as an attorney in pretty impetuous (irresponsible in retrospect) fashion and had been dumped as a result (pretty much). moved to montana with the cd in the player and it stayed there for 4 years. my brother went up there and stayed in my house and drove the jeep and never changed the cd. it became a fixture in the car. i tried to play it when i was up there in march but it had been scratched in sacrilege.
i like the fact that there are two shins songs, and iron+wine's version of such great heights is far superior to postal service's.
