This Friday, scheduling rears it’s ugly head with AA and Isbell being in town on the same night at different venues. AA hits the stage at Hogs for the Cause at 7-8:30. Isbell plays the Fillmore; Doors at 7 with an opener. Presumably (hopefully) Isbell hits the stage at 9?

I’m choosing AA because it’s been forever and a day since they’ve been in Louisiana, but I’d love to see both.

I think the stars would have to align to make it from UNO to Harrahs by 9. Thoughts?

Wooks->AA->Trampled

Want to catch Luthi and Marco too

Isbell is here frequently and will be back. Many of the others at Hogs will not

AA.

Isbell will be back soon and hopefully not at an overpriced ticket like Friday.

going to see AA and trampled by turtles at hogs

isbell comes through frequently. AA hasn't played south louisiana as a full band in years and never with this lineup

AA, love child of Drive By Truckers and Bruce Springsteen (although I think a drunken Hank Jr may have snuck in the backdoor).

Isbell was good as usual, but wish he’d open up the set list to more of his song catalogue.

Talked to BJ after the hogs show. He said that drummer was brand new. Literally flew into nola Friday morning and had the songs learned that they were going to play. He met him Friday around lunch

He was really impressive. That was his first show with the band.

I saw BJ Solo in Seattle when he did his tour across America with the wife in the Ford Aerostar van. Missed the old line up when Hohs City Park was cancelled b/c of rain. I drove all around the city that night assuming AA would play somewhere that night, but not luck.

All that being said I went to Isbell because I bought those tickets before the Hogs line up was announced.
If AA would have been Saturday, it would have been the best weekend ever.
Fillmore was great, although bar lines were LONG, and bartenders were SLOW.
