I got on a Jerry Reed kick and came across that a while back. They complemented each other well in that one. He played with BB on some other songs:

The Thrill is Gone
I Just Can't Leave Your Love Alone

I've come to really appreciate his guitar picking, plus no matter what you see him in he always looks like he's having the time of his life.

So true.

He even manages to give Mets fans the business in this one.

Jerry Reed has never been given enough recognition for his playing ability, by the regular public anyway. He was known by great pickers, to be among the best. A guitar player's guitar player. Hell of a cool guy too. You know by the people who chose to keep company with him, and how they enjoyed being around him.
Not many white guys ever had his kind of rhythm. One of my very favorite pickers.

Jerry Reed's probably my favorite country artist. Glenn Campbell's right there with him.

As far as skills on the guitar goes, Jim Stafford's another great one.

I hadn't realized he was that good, until a video on youtube came up of him playing. He's becoming one of my favorite country artists to listen to. Here's another of his I like Guitar Medley
