"Rojas said the cancellation was related to Huka Entertainment, the New Orleans-based promoter of the local Warped date. Huka has struggled recently after one of the major festivals the company produces, the Pemberton Music Festival in Canada, was canceled and filed for bankruptcy."

I was planning on going to the Warped tour. Good thing I never bought a ticket. Hopefully some of those bands will do their own show instead.

most country acts in new orleans seem to not do well. the outlaw event would have done well in baton rouge.

Valid point.
Huka Entertainment was putting on Warped and I heard through the music grapevine they went belly up a couple weeks ago. So that's more than likely the reasoning behind that, but Outlaw was bad marketing.
There was one announcement and then I saw it nowhere else.
