First concert that I remember going to was The Beach Boys sometime in the mid 80s. They actually played Fulton County Stadium after a Braves game. Back then the Braves were sucking so badly that they were doing anything to try to sell tickets. Also saw Alabama that same way in the same year.
First real concert, me and a buddy went to see Hank Williams, Jr. at the Omni. Kentucky Headhunters opened. I think I also saw my first live look at a mason jar of moonshine that night as well.

Got dragged by the rents to see The Carpenters right after the PMAC opened in '72. They were actually pretty good even though I never cared for their music.

Marshall Tucker Band. '77 or '78. My dad took me when I was nine. He loved him some southern rock / country western music.
