This thang's got too many knobs
Anybody got suggestions about how to go about finding the best sound? There are so many combinations possible, it complicates things. How the hell do you decide?

Using the same settings on my modeling amp, that I always use for telecaster- twin reverb with a little bit of delay.
Anybody got any suggestions on a particular amp sound that I might be able to download that would work well with a guitar like this?

One volume for each pickup, 1 tone and 1 master volumes plus a pickup toggle right ? Let me know how you like this one as I think a hollow body electric is in my near future!!

I have an old Electra Dynasty that has 3 knobs, then you can pull out each knob - so in effect you have 6 knobs.

I have a Jackson Mick Thomson soloist that has 1 knob - a volume knob. I like that format a lot better.

Yep, that's all really, I'm just more use to tellies, I'm getting use to it though. I really like this guitar, It sounds really great for the price, and honestly, it looks like an expensive guitar.
I've never bought but a couple of other brand new guitars, but this is the first one that was set up perfectly, right out of the box. I bought it about a year ago, and am just now starting to play it. haven't done anything to it, still got the factory strings on it.
I read a review, that said the tuners weren't very good, but I haven't noticed a problem, and that's an easy fix.
It is kind of heavy, more than a Les Paul. The body is milled out of a solid piece of Mahogany and feels really stout, but that probably costs a little bit of volume, if you are playing it without an amp.
400 bucks for a guitar that sounds and looks this good, I think it's a pretty good deal. It's already got me playing a bit different too.

I've mostly always played tellies with just a tone and a volume, now that I am getting use to this though, I like being able to decide the mix between the pickups when you have both switched on.

Clapton’s woman tone (neck pickup with the volume up and the tone all the way down) is strange but it works. Dickey Betts primarily used the neck pickup and Duane used the bridge a lot. Same band and guitar with two different sounds. Fiddle around until you find what pleases you.

really liking having the switch in the middle, with the volume up just a little more at the bridge pick up, tone backed off from all treble a bit. Seems good for almost anything.
Along with my resonator guitar, I like the sound I am getting.
