Anyone care to chime in? I am looking for an affordable cut away electric acoustic. I played one of these last night. It sounded as good as others that were nearly twice the amount. It is on sale for 299 and retails for 459.

You can't go wrong with a Fender, but there are probably better deals to be had for quality, entry-level acoustic guitars right now.

Hard to part with an instrument when one catches your eye. Something to be said about a gut reaction.

As far as Christmas break, I'm past ready. Getting too hard to come back from that Thanksgiving break knowing you're going to have an even bigger break in just 3 weeks.

How's the new position going for you? You going to start your annual "Christmas Break Teacher Check-in Thread" to rustle all the jimmies on the OT?

I have not started it fully...most likely will in January. We ran into multiple personnel problems.
