Thoughts? An earlier thread was discussing acoustic PUPS. I said I did not want to hijack that thread with this question.
I’ve only dabbled with them at GC with whatever random lower to middle end Taylor or Yamaha I could get hold of with stock electronics. Sounds decent and seems like an amp that will flood the used market eventually. So I will wait.
Just wondered if there were any owners out there with positives and negatives. I do not gig. Nobody would pay to hear me. This is just a practice/couch/ bedroom amp for me.
IB4 I’m no baller. A real MB aficionado would use a $2k mic by the soundhole to a board and a PA. $5k minimum. ??

They are good amps. Put the Fishman Lunchbox on your radar, as well as the Genz Benz Shenandoah series amps.
I have the Shenandoah Pro LT like this one and I get consistent raves on it from my clients. Two channels, each with digital effects, that you can either play through or sing through. Blendable tube/ss preamp to tailor warmth and compression. Every acoustic that runs through this amp sounds like a million bucks.
Mine's the cat daddy Shen and maybe more than you need or want to spend - they make smaller, quieter cheaper versions with similar circuitry. But be aware of the flagship in case one shows up clean and priced well below market. As mine did.

Thanks. They will be in my list with Peavey Classics. Had never heard of those either til you told me.

My brother gave me this Fishman Loudbox Performer acoustic amp this weekend. He said he has 3 or 4 and was going to give it to goodwill. Works perfectly and sounds pretty sweet.
