I really like Mike Patton. I like to listen to a lot of his different projects, probably Mr Bungle more than anything. He's so talented and puts out pretty interesting music.
I haven't listened a ton to Faith No More, but I like some of what I've heard. I imagine that it's not like a lot of their catalogue, but I really like their covers of Easy and I Started a Joke.

Mike Patton has the most range of any rock singer I have heard. Chris Cornell is up there also.
I advise you to listen to The Real Thing, AngelDust, and King For A Day Fool for A Lifetime.
FNM was always one of my favorites, but rarely can I listen to what is a lot of darker music within and still find so much joy. A Small Victory is likely my favorite song by them. Their 1997 album "Record of the Year" was also very sharp.

Angeldust, IMO, is the best one overall followed by album of the year or Epic.
