KISS Dynasty Tour

December 8, 1979 at the Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport LA.

My Uncle took me to this show when I was 7 and it was AWESOME!

Sorry about my post. I didn't read the whole OP subject. All I saw was the part about your favorite live show and I got excited to share about the memories from my childhood. Once again sorry about that.

Some of my favorite live DJ sets have all been at small venues:

Sasha and Digweed
Ferry Corsten
Tiesto
DJ Irene actually puts on a pretty good show if you like Hard House
ATB

Now there's a difference between live DJ sets and live performances.
I will never forget the Uberzone live performance at the State Palace. I wish all the electronica naysayers, who say that all these artists do is spin music, would have seen this show. An hour and a half of awesome breakbeats performed live on actual instruments. Great experience.

Well I get you, also the live dj sets aren't anything like they used to be when they spinned vinyl. Scratching with elbows, their noses, behind the back it was crazy. I just don't feel the energy from them like I used to. Maybe I'm older now and no drugs lol
Music is great though

Yep, the drugs made it fun but I still appreciated the music after that phase had passed.

There were two vinyl acts that were incredible to watch. Richard Humpty Vission would switch records and perfectly mix them in about every 30 seconds. I probably couldn't do one in 30 minutes. Qbert is the best scratch turntablist that I saw live. His hands moved so fast scratching and fading in unison.

Oh I totally agree I love the music still.. I wasn't able to see either of those but I have seen YouTube vids. I'm not trying to be that guy I just think the scene was totally different then. I still like to listen to some of the old sets.

I forgot one of the best live shows had to of been rabbit in the moon that was crazy

DJ Swamp was pretty entertaining to watch too.

How has no one said RITM? Their shows are always a ton of fun!

Nero last year at Buku was incredible. Closed out the weekend and within 5 mins the entire crowd went from sitting down exhausted to raging one last time.

Bassnectar always has a great set. Seeing him again tomorrow
