Great song!! I love both versions

Echo And The Bunnymen- People Are Strange

The cover version was produced by Doors' keyboardist, Ray Manzarek.

The Lost Boys- People are Strange Scene

A 12-inch version was released in February 1988 before the single was re-released in 1991. The B-sides were all the same as their previous release, "Bedbugs and Ballyhoo"

One of the best all-time for a movie that wasn't about music. And a great movie, to me.

Their obsession with The Doors got a little annoying at times.

I’d say it was one of the best for me. I wish I could go back even just for one day

my weekends (and many weeknights ) was see saw between kingfish in laffy, bengal/xanthus and multiple NOLA clubs whose names i've forgotten..deja vu was one maybe?

we also drove from baton rouge to NYC for spring break in my roommates trashed chevy nova (which literally fell apart on the long island expressway) and went clubbing at the Savage (save the robots), limelight and a couple other places.

damn that was a great time to be a young adult.
