I'm listening to it now. Very pleased with this album. I'm sure the hate is incoming though. The Music Board seems to only listen to obscure shite that wrist-cutting figs listen to.

Maybe that's what his fans want. I happen to think they are different enough. I have enjoyed both of his albums and hope he stays with his formula.
I agree AJF....easily my favorite artist right now.

Yeah, I didn't want him to change it up all that much. I really like his first album...literally every song is good to listen to. And now that I've gone through this album a few times, I can say the same for it as well. Two full albums that I like every single song. I can't say that for many artists. How many really put out such a solid product?
I honestly was a little worried how he would repeat his success since his first album did have a similar sound and feel throughout, but damn if he didn't come through. His music is simple and his voice is very traditional...something that can't be said for many present day country artists IMO.
