Drummer needs matierial

I am always looking for new matierial. Swing, shuffle, funk, rock, Latin, doesn't matter.
If there are drummers on here give me some good beats you have gotten alot of millege from. I have got a ton from the half time shuffle, and linear stuff.
There is a song by phish call "you enjoy myself" I am striving to learn that song, VERY hard to play as written. Makes Tom sawyer seem like child's play.
I need grooves!

Check out Dub Trio. Joe Tomino is a beast. He looks really nerdy, but the guy has chops and plays some interesting beats.
Dub Trio - Angle of Acceptance
Dub Trio - No Flag
Another badass drummer that brings it with his own style is Zach Hill:
Zach Hill & Carson McWhirter - Face Tat

Look up Stanton Moore (Galactic) Johnny Vidacovich(everyone in NOLA), Mean Willy Green (Neville Bros,NOLA Suspects) and Zigaboo Modeliste (The Meters) on the youtube.
Don't forget to keep it funky!

dreaux - Makes me want to quit
I understand the sentiment. I hate to admit it, but that's always my first reaction when I see a drummer that has that much control and awareness of where the "1" is. Pisses me off...

Gavin Harrison is one of my favorites too.
Here is a groove from pat petrillo. He calls it Brazilian funk, and it's great for when I am in a funk. It broke some of my tendencies a while back when it seemed like I was playing the same thing over and over.
Check it out and take it to the kit. I love this beat!

Check out Keith Carlock.. Mississippi boy now playing with Steely Dan.. One bad mofo..
Oh yeah, Shreveport's own Brian Blade is also one of the top drummers in the world.. Black Dub, tons of Jazz guys,Wayne Shorter being one, played on a couple Dylan records.. Super nice guy..

the doors first album has some of the most ill concieved "rock" drumming ever. the very fact that no one even notices shows how masterful the drumming actually is. swing beats under a ballad. salsa rhythms under a rock song. really impressive work.
