Sorry but this damn album is way underrated, I know people love NOLA and everything but living with my grandmother in the 70s and 80s in New Orleans this album just has a New Orleans Rock feel to it (I know it sounds weird) but it just has that feel. Down fans tell me how you feel.

I like it but don't think it's nearly as good as NOLA. Stained Glass Cross is definitely my favorite song on the album.

It's about time someone post's about some good music on here. I've been listening to DOWN since 1998. That's before they were know about. Me and my wife went see them in 2012 in Lafayette. The crushed it. Such a distinctive sound.

My favorite off that album is "Lies...I don't know what they say but."

Has that Van Morrison "Moondance" vibe to it. Such a versatile album.

Great album. I wish they'd play more songs from it live. I'm tired of hearing NOLA.

When i listened to physical media, i genuinely disliked that album. the flow is weird, and frankly, its not an album i really want to listen to top to bottom. since ipods and digital media has taken over i have been rating songs while on shuffle to make playlists and i have high rated just as many down II songs as the other two albums.

it has songs that are good mixed into a solid metal playlist, but are a little grinding to hear back to back.

Thats the downside of being original.

Great album by my favorite band, but I prefer NOLA. Too bad they don't make them like they used to. I'd have to say Ghosts and Dog Tired are my favorites off of II.

I've been to most every show that they have played in Louisiana the past 10 years. Never really gets old, although I would like to hear them play some different stuff live. Like more off of II and even III. I'd love to hear Dog Tired, Mourn, Pillamyd and In The Thrall of it All live.

I've seen DOWN once live, in Dallas at Deep Ellum Live. It was an incredible show, but my favorite part was when the band busted out into an improv'd "Dazed and Confused."

I like Down a lot. I would like Down a whole lot more if Phil "I can't shut my fricking mouth and let the band shine when playing live because I am compensating for my tiny penis" Anselmo wasn't in the band and Pepper Keenan did all the vocals.

I don't find Phil being obnoxious at all nowadays. Nothing compared to when he was all strung out. I'm a huge Pepper fan also though.
