Just stumbled across this video. I used to make fun of the stoners who liked them in college, but maybe I was missing the boat. They remind me of one of my favorite bands. Band Of Horses. Is there anything else out there like this?

I fast forwarded to a random part of that video and they were playing loving cup. So I'd start with the Rolling Stones. Also check out one of the at least 10 covers and check out those bands.

Phish is a band for people who don't have a technical understanding of music or just prefer simplistic styles. Predictable chord progressions and unimaginative solos are the cornerstone of Phish's music. While they do provide a very positive anti-drug message, it's often lost on their audience as most "Phish Phans" are either too young to experiment with drugs (4-10) or too mature to consider them (70-dead).
Bottomline, if you're old enough to drive and really like music then you're better off sticking with Band of Horses.

and op if you're serious which I am certain you are not, yes Phish is awesome. They moved up to my 3rd favorite band in a month once I started putting in the effort to listen to them.
