New album released yesterday.

Album Review

As a longtime David Gray fan I’m digging the new album. Definitely a little shift in sound but it works. It’s amazing to me how under the radar his career has been.

I'll have to check this out. I think 'Hospital Food' is such an underrated song

David Gray? I’m sure MILF’s everywhere just got a little moister.

The hype around him early on was pretty nuts. Lot of people felt he was the best songwriter to come around in a looong time

There was a ton of hype around Babylon but he’s had several albums since then that were better than White Ladder.

Not as much of a shift I guess as a throwback to his more electronic sound from White Ladder and A New Day at Midnight.

Yea i didnt mean to imply undeservedly so if it sounded like it. And to clarify i think it was mostly from his huge UK fanbase. I literally remember comparisons to Dylan

I preordered the vinyl and haven't received it yet. They sent an email a few weeks back that there was an error during pressing. Hoping to get it soon. I thought his last record was best of his catalog.

A new day at midnight and life in slow motion were fantastic albums! Fugitive and Stella were great songs on Draw the line but I haven’t liked much since. Looking forward to checking this out.
