Daughters

If you are a fan of challenging or abrasive music and you haven't checked out Daughters' album You Won't Get What You Want, you are doing yourself a disservice. I've listened to a lot of music described as "brutal" or "disturbing" and this is on my very short list of albums that I would say are genuinely unnerving. I can't really say that I enjoy it, nor do I think Daughters made or want this album to be traditionally "enjoyed," but on the other hand I find myself drawn back to it for repeated listens. It is a unique experience. Check it out if it sounds up your alley.
