Anyone seen the Daft Punk video that's been floating around? God I hope they are gonna go on tour. Been listening to them for 16 years. My brother gave me Discovery for Christmas back in 2001. I would go to as many of their concerts I could afford to see. Please let it not be fake.

i hope so too, but its not like I will be able to get tickets at face value for it.
i had friends that went to their Red rocks show in 2007 and said it was a religious experience.

Oh I would drain my life savings and go see them several times. I'm 25. I have time to make more money. Might not ever get the chance to see my favorite duo again.

the code or whatever in the video has cities, all of which are from the Alive 2007 tour

I'd like to think they are working on stuff since they did 2 tracks with The Weeknd recently

also, they straight up do not care about money. They didn't even tour after releasing RAM, which went #1 and won multiple grammys.
Thomas has apparently been quoted saying they need at least 2 albums to tour, as they combine songs live, and they don't think RAM is enough material and won't repeat anything from Alive 2007.
if they release an album this year I will get my hopes up.

They didnt plan to tour to support Ram(music was to Disco/Chill to make a stadium move). DP is taking offers for interesting "one offs" but from what I understand they have turned down a bunch of stuff in the 2-3 Million Dollar range. They will tour their next album if they can get the production where they want it to be.

They did have world-famous tours in '97, and '07... So one could surmise they'll tour in '17.
